Every concern is treated with confidentiality, fairness, and integrity to maintain trust in the certification process. AGA upholds strict timelines, committee oversight, and corrective action measures to resolve issues in a professional and non-discriminatory manner.

Impartial Resolution Process

Appeals and complaints are carefully reviewed by an independent Appeals and Complaints Committee. Clients are informed of proceedings, kept updated throughout, and notified of outcomes in writing. All decisions are binding, transparent, and free from conflict of interest.

  • Appeals must be submitted in writing within 21 days of receiving a decision from AGA or its representatives.
  • An Appeals and Complaints Committee of at least 3 independent members will review each case impartially.
  • Decisions are communicated to the appellant within 30 days, with corrective or preventive actions as required.
  • All complaints, whether about AGA or its certified clients, are logged, investigated, and closed formally.
  • Trends from complaints are reviewed in management meetings to ensure continual improvement of processes.
